• 💰 Salary Range: $166,345 – $195,700 USD + bonus + equity + benefits

⚙️ What You’ll Be Doing

This role is part strategist, part facilitator, and part risk whisperer — you’ll help Coinbase:

• 🧭 Lead risk workshops and deep dives on strategic/emerging risks
• 🧱 Maintain and evolve the ERM framework (taxonomies, appetite, assessment methodology)
• 🔔 Monitor risk signals and escalate to execs & governance forums
• 📊 Build dashboards, KRIs, risk reporting routines aligned with company strategy
• 🤝 Partner with key internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Product, Compliance, CROs)
• 📝 Prep board-level decks and regulatory engagement materials

• ✅ Experience building or scaling ERM in a fast-moving or tech-driven environment
• 📣 Strong communication chops — translating risk into exec-level insights
• 🧩 Ability to align top-down risk strategy with bottom-up team input
• 🌀 Comfort with ambiguity and working cross-functionally
• 🎯 A pragmatic mindset — you don’t just report risk, you influence outcomes

💼 Bonus Points If You Bring

• 👨‍💻 GRC system hands-on experience
• 📚 Knowledge of frameworks: COSO, ISO 31000, NIST, DORA
• 📊 Experience with KRI/KPI design, risk appetite metrics, or control assessments
• 🔐 Financial services, crypto, or heavily regulated tech company background
• 📜 Professional certifications in risk (CRM, CRMA, FRM, etc.)
