Position: Enterprise Risk Manager

Location: Remote (United States) | Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $166,345 – $195,700 USD + bonus + equity + benefits

Summary:

Coinbase is seeking an Enterprise Risk Manager to lead and refine its risk management framework, aligning top-level risks with company strategy in a fast-moving, regulated, and innovative environment. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, monitor, and report emerging and strategic risks to executive leadership and the Board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate risk assessments, workshops, and deep dives
• Maintain enterprise risk taxonomy and appetite statements
• Develop KRIs, dashboards, and reporting
• Engage senior leaders and regulatory stakeholders
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Compliance, Product, and regional CROs

Requirements:

• Proven experience building/scaling ERM frameworks
• Strong communication and executive reporting skills
• Strategic thinking and stakeholder management
• Comfort with ambiguity and cross-functional collaboration

Nice to Have:

• Experience in fintech/crypto/regulated tech
• Familiarity with COSO, ISO 31000, NIST, DORA
• GRC tools, KPI/KRI design, or risk certifications
