🧩 Role Summary

As a Junior Exchange Operations Specialist, you’ll support the daily operations of Nadex’s trading systems and contribute to platform performance and stability. You'll play a key role in helping maintain trading systems, troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure the exchange runs efficiently and securely.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for both Production and Demo trading platforms.
• Perform contract creation, scheduling, end-of-day processing, and settlement of expired contracts.
• Assist with incident resolution, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Participate in:
• Continuous improvement of internal operations.
• QA testing of exchange systems.
• Investigating and integrating 3rd-party tools for system automation and efficiency.
• Handle a wide range of technical and operational issues.

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Understanding or experience in cryptocurrency, prediction markets, options, or futures trading.
• Technical skills or exposure in:
• SQL, Python, or Linux.
• System monitoring or scheduling tools (e.g., Cron jobs, FIX protocol).
• Experience with securities or trading platforms is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a mission-critical, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to support after-hours coverage when required.
