Role Overview

As an FCI Investigator, you will be an integral part of Binance’s AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and compliance function. You will handle suspicious activity reports (SARs), conduct investigations, liaise with internal stakeholders, and support regulatory compliance operations in a fast-paced fintech environment. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to grow within compliance or investigations in the crypto space.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Review and handle assigned Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) within defined service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Reporting & Tracking: Maintain SAR escalation logs, ensure timely reviews, and support client off-boarding processes.
• Escalation: Collaborate with team leads and MLROs when escalation or further guidance is needed.
• Internal Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to improve SAR quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Tools & Systems: Use compliance tools such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, Kodex, and World-Check to support investigations.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Stay updated on local laws and AML/CFT directives, particularly those related to virtual currency.
• Professional Development: Participate in internal/external AML training and compliance-related programs.
• Administrative Support: Assist with any administrative tasks related to investigative and compliance work.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in AML investigations, SAR filing, audit, or regulatory work.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; other languages are a plus.
• Familiarity with AML compliance software is strongly preferred.
