Title: Specialist, FCM (Futures Commission Merchant)

Location: United States (Remote – with expected in-person participation at offsites)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $95,030 – $111,800 USD/year

Team: FCM Operations – U.S. Futures Division

🔹 What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support Coinbase Financial Markets, Inc. by ensuring accurate back-office operations and reporting for futures trading. This is a high-stakes, regulated environment focused on:

• 📊 Trade flow and reconciliation: Validating cash, trade, and position records
• 📈 Reporting: Supporting internal teams and external regulators with precision
• 🧮 Margin and risk monitoring: Helping manage customer account positions
• 🤝 Cross-functional collaboration: Partnering with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Engineering
• ⚙️ Process automation: Streamlining workflows and improving efficiency
• 📚 Documentation: Drafting SOPs and internal control docs
• 📍 Ad hoc analysis: Delivering insights from large data sets

🔹 Key Qualifications (Must-Have)

✅ 3+ years’ experience in financial services or tech

✅ Experience in FCM and/or broker-dealer operations

✅ Strong analytical, prioritization, and communication skills

✅ Project management background

✅ Familiarity with listed derivatives

✅ Interest in crypto/blockchain, even at a basic level

✅ Solid collaboration and self-starter mindset

🔹 Nice to Haves

⭐ BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business

⭐ Public company experience

⭐ Familiarity with XTP (FIS XTP)

⭐ Working knowledge of digital assets or derivatives (futures, options)
