Role Overview

We are looking for a Financial Accountant / Manager (CIS) to join our Finance team and support accounting and financial operations across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of IFRS, tax regulations, and regional financial reporting. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, compliance, and contributing to Binance’s continued growth in the CIS markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounting entries and month-end closings in Netsuite (Oracle) for the CIS region.
• Submit accurate and timely financial reporting packages in accordance with group deadlines.
• Ensure compliance and punctual submission of regulatory and tax reports across the CIS region.
• Maintain accurate records in 1C accounting system for Kazakhstan and reconcile with Netsuite.
• Ensure all financial reporting adheres to IFRS, internal controls, and local legislation.
• Liaise with consultants, regulators, auditors, and banks to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
• Actively participate in regional and global financial projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Reconcile accounts thoroughly and archive financial documentation in a structured manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluent in Russian and English (both spoken and written).
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in finance or accounting, ideally within the crypto or financial sectors.
• Background in Big 4 or major accounting firms is preferred.
• Professional certifications (DipIFR, ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, regional tax codes, and financial regulatory environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with 1C accounting system; willingness to learn Oracle/Netsuite.
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented mindset, and a team-player attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
