💼 The Role

As a Financial Crime Investigator – APAC, you’ll join our elite compliance team focused on identifying and investigating suspicious activity, improving our internal controls, and ensuring Binance remains compliant with all regulatory obligations. You’ll work on meaningful cases, partner across departments, and play a critical role in defending our platform from abuse and fraud.

🧩 Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve assigned suspicious activity cases within SLA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to advise on next steps, escalate serious concerns, and support the offboarding process.
• Log and manage escalations while working with MLROs and team leads on high-risk cases.
• Prepare and review Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) ensuring quality, clarity, and regulatory compliance.
• Use tools like Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, Kodex, Dow Jones, and others to trace and evaluate activity.
• Maintain a solid grasp of evolving AML/CFT regulations, especially in the virtual asset space.
• Participate in training, compliance audits, and cross-team programs.
• Provide general compliance support and administrative oversight when needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years in financial crime investigations, SAR reporting, or compliance/audit roles within a fintech or financial institution.
• Familiarity with blockchain analytics platforms and virtual asset transaction monitoring.
• Sharp attention to detail, strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Proven ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving global environment.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
