Financial Crimes Compliance QA Team Lead

About the Role:

Coinbase is seeking a motivated QA Team Lead to ensure regulatory excellence across our compliance programs. You will lead quality reviews in areas like KYC, CDD, EDD, AML alerts, and sanctions screening, driving operational efficiency and adherence to AML/CFT standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement risk-based QA programs
• Conduct reviews using statistical and risk-based sampling
• Create scoring methodologies and QA templates
• Lead and coach QA analysts; report on metrics
• Collaborate with teams to drive process enhancements

Requirements:

• 5+ years in QA, audit, or compliance testing
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT laws, KYC, sanctions compliance
• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis tools
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field

Preferred:

• Experience with cryptocurrency or blockchain
• Tools: SQL, Tableau, Snowflake
• Certifications: CAMS, CFCS, or CFE
