🎯 Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) professional to join Binance as Global Sanctions Advisory & Governance Lead. This is a senior-level position focused on sanctions and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) risk management. You’ll lead governance efforts, implement best-in-class controls, and provide strategic advisory across our global operations.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in sanctions & CTF risk frameworks, compliance monitoring, and governance.
• Design and implement second-line-of-defense testing and control frameworks specific to sanctions and financial crime.
• Advise internal stakeholders across Binance on compliance risks and mitigation strategies, while balancing business priorities.
• Evaluate and improve existing compliance processes, controls, and internal risk documentation.
• Monitor global regulatory developments and assess their impact on Binance operations.
• Lead and contribute to industry-wide knowledge sharing initiatives, deepening Binance’s FCC capabilities.
• Drive and manage cross-border compliance projects and audits with external regulators and internal teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders such as regulators, auditors, and industry groups.
• Deliver clear and actionable compliance insights and reporting to executive leadership.

✅ Requirements

• 12+ years of proven experience in compliance, sanctions, or financial crime risk management, preferably at the global level.
• Minimum of 10 years in monitoring, testing, and governance roles in FCC.
• University degree in Law, Finance, Compliance, or related field.
• ACAMS or ACFCS certification preferred.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep understanding of banking or fintech processes, controls, and systems.
• Strong analytical, writing, and decision-making abilities.
• Proven track record in project management and leadership roles.
• Agile and pragmatic approach to complex compliance issues.
• Ability to inspire and influence teams and build compliance culture globally.
• Comfortable working across functional and geographic boundaries in a remote, fast-paced environment.
