Role Overview

• Lead Canva’s Corporate Accounting function, overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other standards.
• Manage policies and change management safeguarding the general ledger and financial structures.
• Drive automation, process improvements, and scalability in financial operations.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing corporate accounting team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance financial process understanding and outcomes.
• Manage internal controls and SOX compliance to mitigate financial risks.

• Experienced leader in Corporate Accounting within a rapidly growing, scaled public company.
• Skilled at developing and executing accounting strategies and building strong teams.
• Proficient in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Deep knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Comfortable with ERP systems and financial software.
• Strong communicator, able to lead change management and process transformation.
