🧭 Role Objective:

To strengthen governance, compliance, and audit readiness across the HR function by proactively reviewing and auditing internal HR processes, identifying control gaps, reducing risks, and driving sustainable improvements.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

🔍 Audit & Assurance Tasks:

• Conduct structured audits of HR processes to ensure alignment with internal policies, SOPs, and SLAs.
• Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls in:
• Onboarding & Background Verification (BGV)
• Payroll (accuracy, statutory deductions, reconciliations)
• Offboarding (F&F settlements, recoveries, write-offs)
• FTC Management (contract workers, vendor SLAs, CLRA compliance)
• Vendor Management
• Employee Data Integrity across HRMS and related systems

📊 Reporting & Governance:

• Generate audit reports/dashboards to flag findings and share with process owners.
• Support root-cause analysis and implementation of sustainable controls.
• Ensure audit documentation is up-to-date and inspection-ready.

🤝 Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Finance (GL, Treasury, Accounts) to strengthen adjacent controls.
• Promote a proactive risk management mindset across HR operations.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required:

🧠 Educational Background:

• Master’s in HR, Finance, Audit, or a related field.

💼 Professional Experience:

• 4–5 years in internal audit, process assurance, or compliance roles focused on HR.
• Exposure to labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR policies.
• Experience working in high-volume or scaling organizations, ideally FinTech.

🛠️ Technical/Functional Skills:

• Excel proficiency for data analysis and audit documentation.
• Investigative and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
