Role Overview

As an HR Business Partner at Coinbase, you’ll be a strategic advisor, coach, and builder. You’ll work hand-in-hand with leadership to translate business needs into scalable people strategies across performance management, employee engagement, development, organizational planning, and compliance. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where innovation, speed, and precision matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead people programs across performance, development, compensation, retention, and culture
• Partner closely with functional leaders on org design, change management, and team health
• Coach employees and managers on professional growth, leveling, and feedback
• Analyze people data to provide insights that drive decision-making and improvements
• Create and reinforce scalable, compliant HR policies and employee relations frameworks
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) across the People team for seamless execution
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, navigating ambiguity with sound judgment

What You Bring

• 8+ years in HRBP, people strategy, chief of staff, or HR consulting roles
• A strong operational mindset, with a track record of executing scalable people programs
• Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience
• Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to influence with insights
• Comfort providing direct feedback and coaching across all levels
• High integrity, discretion, and a strong sense of accountability
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, remote-first work environment

Bonus Points (Nice to Have)

• Experience supporting tech or crypto-native organizations
• Familiarity with hypergrowth scaling environments
• Background in change management or organizational design consulting
