Job Overview:

As HRC/EDD Manager – Global, you will play a critical role in managing the global High-Risk Client (HRC) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) programs. Reporting to the Global Head of HRC/EDD/CDD, you will lead key strategic and operational initiatives to enhance Binance’s compliance and risk management frameworks, particularly around high-risk clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Global Head of HRC/EDD/CDD with managing the global High-Risk Client (HRC) program and standard operating procedures.
• Lead the implementation and oversight of Binance’s global high-risk customer monitoring program.
• Act as the primary stakeholder in developing and managing customer risk scoring methodologies.
• Provide strategic insights and operational support for key EDD initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to improve systems and tools related to HRC/EDD.
• Document global and localized HRC/EDD requirements across jurisdictions, partnering with regional MLROs for compliance.
• Lead remediation and improvement projects within the EDD/HRC domain.
• Ensure compliance with global and local regulatory frameworks such as FATF standards and country-specific AML/CFT requirements.
• Monitor, report, and manage performance metrics relevant to the HRC/EDD function.
• Oversee escalation protocols and project prioritization within the global HRC/EDD structure.

Requirements:

• Experience:
• 8+ years in Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), ideally within financial services, fintech, or crypto.
• 4+ years of management or team leadership experience.
• 4+ years managing periodic reviews and monitoring of high-risk customers.
• Certifications:
• ACAMS, ACFCS, or other relevant industry certification(s).
• Knowledge & Skills:
• In-depth understanding of global CDD/EDD requirements and AML/CFT frameworks.
• Experience implementing customer risk scoring and working with complex ownership structures.
• Familiarity with licensing requirements for financial/crypto services globally.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote, and multicultural environment.
