Senior Backend Developer - Innovation

Location: Taipei, Taiwan (Hybrid)

Role Overview

Join a lean, fast-moving team to design, develop, maintain, and improve backend components for new ventures projects adjacent to Crypto.com’s core business. You will own backend services focusing on scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services, propose architectural decisions, and participate in design/code reviews
• Build prototypes for new ideas and innovations
• Take ownership of projects and experiment with new technologies
• Solve complex problems in large-scale backend and mobile platforms
• Manage documentation for all code and features
• Collaborate with DevOps and mobile engineers to improve the tech stack

Requirements

• 5-8+ years experience in backend development
• Strong skills in server-side languages like NestJS, Node.js, Vue.js, Java
• Experience with scalability, security, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Next.js, Vue.js, React.js) is a plus
• Experience or interest in blockchain technology (e.g., Ethermint, Cosmos SDK) is advantageous
• Experience with AI code generation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) is a plus
• Self-motivated, fast learner, “get things done” mindset
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, able to juggle priorities
• Open and humble mindset to embrace new ideas and challenges
