Coinbase is seeking an Internal Audit Financial Crimes Compliance Senior Analyst to join the Internal Audit team. This role involves conducting audits focused on financial crimes compliance within Coinbase's global operations. You’ll work to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and help the company meet regulatory requirements in a heavily regulated environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct financial crimes compliance audits across Coinbase's global entities.
• Execute audits from beginning to end, including audit planning, stakeholder management, fieldwork execution, reporting, and validation of findings.
• Review documents, analyze data sets, perform regulatory mapping, and evaluate risk assessments.
• Map processes and confirm the effectiveness of internal controls related to financial crimes compliance.
• Test data sets to assess the adequacy of internal processes and controls.
• Provide innovative ideas for process and technology improvements.

What We Look For:

• 4+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Law, or Management Consulting.
• Specific experience in financial crimes compliance within a heavily regulated financial institution.
• Solid understanding of internal control environments and the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in crypto/blockchain technology or the financial services industry.
• Experience in a high security or regulated industry.
• Familiarity with SQL for data analysis.
