What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute IT and security audits covering technology, infrastructure, platforms, applications, and governance.
• Support Coinbase’s internal audit plan by performing end-to-end audits, including planning, stakeholder management, execution, and reporting.
• Track audit findings, validate remediation efforts, and work closely with business units to improve processes and mitigate risks.
• Keep abreast of local regulatory requirements in EMEA related to IT, security, and financial services.
• Prepare and present audit reports to executive teams and assist with responses to regulatory inquiries.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on improving technology, security, and operational performance.
• Lead internal control certifications and collaborate with the first and second lines of defense to ensure strong internal controls.

What We Look For:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of internal audit experience, with a strong focus on IT, information security, and technology audits.
• Deep understanding of cloud technology stacks, application development lifecycle, and enterprise technology risk management.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for quality and detail.
• Experience with Google Suite, MS Office, and basic coding (Python, Ruby, etc.).

• Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CFE).
• Experience with crypto, payments, or financial services industry audits.
