Role Overview
Binance France is seeking an Internal Control Officer to enhance our compliance framework, perform risk assessments, and strengthen internal controls. This is a critical role where you'll work closely with business teams and internal audits to ensure risk frameworks are robust, remedial actions are implemented, and audit readiness is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Control Implementation: Execute and oversee second-level permanent controls across all Binance France activities.
- Risk Identification & Remediation: Identify anomalies resulting from controls and propose corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Adapt Control Plan: Update and adjust the control plan based on process developments, new projects, and regulatory changes.
- Monitor Controls: Challenge the execution of first-level controls by operational teams and ensure proper monitoring of control effectiveness.
- Control Monitoring Dashboards: Maintain and improve control monitoring dashboards by defining and tracking KPIs to measure control framework effectiveness.
- Reporting: Contribute to internal and regulatory reporting regarding internal controls and risk management practices.
- Global Consistency: Ensure local control frameworks are aligned with Binance's global control structure.
- Internal Procedures: Support the formalization and optimization of internal procedures to improve control framework efficiency.
- Support Teams: Assist operational teams in understanding and applying internal control requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Audit, Risk Management, or related fields.
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in compliance, audit, or internal controls within banking, financial services, fintech, or tech industries.
- Expertise: Experience working with compliance or audit teams on continuous process improvements.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Additional Experience: Previous experience in public sector, crypto-native, or Big 4 companies is a plus.
