Role Overview

As a KYB (Know Your Business) COE Specialist, you’ll play a key role in the Center of Excellence (COE) team by aligning Binance’s global KYB operations with evolving compliance and regulatory standards. You’ll work at the intersection of compliance, operations, legal, and product teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable onboarding processes for business customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and update KYB Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on regulatory requirements and operational needs.
• Translate regulatory changes into actionable operational guidelines and support process implementation across global teams.
• Conduct ongoing reviews of KYB processes, identifying and executing improvements to enhance both efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, compliance, operations, and product teams for end-to-end KYB process alignment.
• Develop and deliver training programs to internal teams on KYB and AML/CFT regulatory standards.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to ensure Binance’s KYB framework remains cutting-edge.
• Support regulatory audits and internal reviews concerning KYB procedures and risk controls.
• Prepare performance and compliance reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory operations, ideally within crypto or financial services.
• Expertise in KYB frameworks, particularly within crypto or fintech ecosystems.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT laws and their application to institutional and B2B onboarding.
• Strong skills in SOP development, process optimization, and project coordination.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Proficient in presenting reports and leading collaborative initiatives.
