KYC/KYB Analyst - Japanese Speaker

🧾 Position Overview

• Title: KYC/KYB Analyst – Japanese Speaker
• Location: Remote (based in Taipei, Taiwan)
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Department: Customer Support / Compliance (Onboarding & Risk Management)
• Language Requirement: Fluent in Japanese & English

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Handle KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) onboarding reviews for both individuals and corporate clients
• Coordinate with multiple internal teams (Compliance, Front Office, Product) to resolve onboarding or due diligence issues
• Review customer queries and tickets related to identification and verification
• Perform AML (Anti-Money Laundering) monitoring, flag suspicious activity, and escalate when necessary
• Participate in internal/external training on AML/CFT and compliance topics
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Contribute to knowledge sharing with regional teams

✅ Requirements

• 3+ years in KYC/KYB/Compliance/Customer Support roles, preferably in financial services or fintech
• Solid knowledge of local and international AML/CFT laws & onboarding regulations
• Experience with tools like:
• World-Check
• Kodex
• Liquid (or similar risk and due diligence systems)
• Proficiency in Japanese (required) and English
• Experience conducting:
• Risk assessments
• Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
• Trigger reviews
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Strong accountability for end-to-end onboarding processes
