Role Summary:

As a Lead EDD Compliance Analyst, you will manage complex end-to-end Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) investigations and support US regulatory escalations. This position is essential in ensuring Coinbase’s adherence to BSA/AML, OFAC, and KYC compliance standards. You will work independently and collaboratively, balancing investigations and leadership support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 50% EDD casework and 50% SME/leadership tasks
• Review KYC information, analyze transactions, and document findings
• Investigate alerts, law enforcement referrals, and regulatory flags
• Maintain compliance documentation and integrate QA feedback
• Stay current on evolving AML, KYC, and crypto regulations
• Support a 24/7 team environment; some nights/weekends required

Requirements:

• 3+ years in compliance, crypto, or financial services
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills
• Proficient in Google Suite, Excel, and investigative tools
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable to fast-paced settings

Nice to Have:

• CAMS, CFCS, or CFE certification
• Project or vendor management experience
• Experience with JIRA, Salesforce, Hummingbird
