Role Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Local Growth Manager to lead our P2P (Peer-to-Peer) business strategy and operations across Africa. You’ll be responsible for driving adoption, building local partnerships, tailoring products for regional markets, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. This role is critical to our growth in one of the most dynamic and promising crypto regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, manage, and grow the Africa P2P business, including operations, product localization, and compliance facilitation.
• Gather and analyze feedback from local users, communities, and competitors to optimize services.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with local P2P vendors, blockchain/crypto communities, and industry associations.
• Design and execute go-to-market strategies to increase P2P volume and user engagement.
• Develop and implement content and promotional strategies tailored to the African crypto market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, banks, and payment partners.
• Stay informed on local regulatory developments and provide insights to help shape compliance strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Growth Strategy, or related roles at a blockchain/crypto company, financial institution, or bank.
• Deep understanding of African crypto communities, user behavior, and regulatory dynamics.
• Proven track record of leading growth initiatives in diverse, multi-country regions.
• Excellent communication and networking skills; capable of managing relationships with high-level stakeholders.
• Bilingual in English and a Niger-Congo language (e.g., Swahili, Yoruba, Zulu, etc.).
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
