Job Overview

We are seeking a Local Growth Manager to lead Binance’s P2P (Peer-to-Peer) strategy and growth efforts across Africa, with a focus on Uganda. You will be at the forefront of Binance's regional expansion—building local relationships, promoting P2P adoption, and ensuring product-market fit in a diverse and dynamic ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, localization, and daily operations of Binance’s P2P platform in Uganda and wider African markets.
• Collect and analyze feedback from local users, communities, and competitors to improve Binance’s regional services.
• Develop and execute partnership strategies with local P2P merchants, crypto/blockchain communities, and industry associations.
• Design and roll out go-to-market strategies aimed at boosting P2P transaction volumes and engagement.
• Promote P2P education and user adoption through localized content and promotional campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, banks, and payment partners.
• Monitor the regulatory environment in Uganda and Africa and provide strategic input to ensure compliance and sustainable operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, growth strategy, or market expansion—preferably in crypto/blockchain, financial services, or banking within Africa.
• Strong knowledge of Uganda’s financial ecosystem, user behaviors, and crypto landscape.
• Existing network within local crypto communities or fintech/regulatory circles is highly advantageous.
• Fluent in English and at least one Niger-Congo language (e.g. Swahili, Luganda, Akan, Yoruba, etc.) to engage effectively across diverse markets.
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute scalable strategies in complex, multicultural settings.
