Compensation: $200K–$225K annualized (pro-rated)

Role Overview:

Join IMC Trading as a Machine Learning Research Intern, collaborating closely with Quant Researchers to explore innovative research ideas and develop analysis tools. Gain hands-on experience with options theory, market making, and trade analysis in a high-impact, fast-paced environment. Top-performing interns may be considered for full-time Graduate Researcher positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on projects that directly influence trading strategies
• Receive structured instruction on options theory
• Build and refine research skills under mentorship
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities

Required Skills & Experience:

• Current PhD candidate in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields (graduating Sept 2026 – July 2027)
• Experience in deep learning or relevant academic research publications
• Proficient in Python, C, or C++ programming
• Strong passion for research, problem-solving, and innovation
• Availability to start in-person on June 8, 2026
