Salary Range: $166,345 – $195,700 USD + bonus + equity + benefits

Summary:

Coinbase is seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting Policy to guide the development, interpretation, and implementation of US GAAP accounting policies across cutting-edge crypto-related financial transactions. Reporting to the Head of Technical Accounting Policy, this role is highly visible and involves close collaboration with Product, Legal, Tax, and FP&A teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accounting policies in line with US GAAP
• Draft technical accounting memos and financial disclosures (10-K/Q, MD&A)
• Lead accounting treatment for new crypto product launches
• Coordinate with external auditors and support SOX compliance
• Advise internal teams on technical accounting inquiries

Requirements:

• Expert-level knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong technical memo writing and analytical skills
• Digital asset or financial instrument accounting expertise
• Excellent cross-functional communication
