About the Role

As the Marketing Manager, UK, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Coinbase’s retail trader base in the UK. You will oversee a variety of full-funnel marketing tactics, working across multiple teams to elevate our brand, acquire new customers, and optimize retention at every customer touchpoint.

This role is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the EMEA marketing team to scale growth within the UK market, bringing new and creative marketing strategies to life. You will help lead the execution of local campaigns and ensure that Coinbase remains at the forefront of the UK crypto and fintech markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Growth Strategy: Develop and optimize growth strategies based on market-level data insights to drive ROI-positive campaigns focused on user revenue/volume growth and the acquisition of high LTV new customers.
• Brand & Partnerships: Partner with the Integrated Brand & Partnerships teams to ensure the UK-specific relevance of brand efforts across integrated campaigns and both global and local brand partnerships.
• Strategic Campaign Management: Execute comprehensive marketing strategies across paid and owned channels, ensuring cohesive campaigns that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science) to align marketing initiatives with product launches, updates, and emerging market trends.
• Performance Analytics & Optimization: Use data-driven insights to analyze marketing campaign performance, conduct A/B testing, and optimize strategies to maximize impact.
• Content Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy, creating engaging and impactful content to reach and resonate with the UK audience.
• Events & Community Management: Plan, execute, and oversee marketing events (both virtual and in-person) to drive brand visibility and community engagement. Build and maintain strong relationships with users and influencers.

What We Look for in You

• Autonomy: Ability to work independently, taking ownership of initiatives and making data-driven decisions to drive results.
• Experience: 6+ years of experience in marketing, particularly within the fintech, crypto, or technology industry, with a proven record of executing successful marketing strategies across paid and owned channels.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to leverage data insights and analytics tools to optimize marketing strategies and measure campaign performance.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to internal teams, stakeholders, and external audiences.
• Fluent in English: Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with cryptocurrency marketing in the UK.
• Fluency in additional languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, or German.

Salary Range: £78,840 GBP - £87,600 GBP (Annual)

Full-time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus, equity, and benefits.
