About the Role

Coinbase is looking for an Operational Risk Senior Analyst to support its Business Resiliency efforts. In this role, you’ll work closely with various teams to ensure the company is prepared for operational disruptions by creating Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), and running global practice exercises. This position also involves ensuring compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and maintaining strong relationships with regulators. It is ideal for someone passionate about operational resiliency, with experience in a regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Continuity Planning: Work with first-line-of-defense (1LOD) owners to create Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for EU & UK.
• Global BCP Exercises: Run global business continuity practice exercises and provide follow-up recommendations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that Coinbase remains DORA compliant through collaboration with EU entity leads.
• Operational Resiliency Monitoring: Define and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) related to operational resiliency.

What Coinbase is Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in operational risk management, with at least 1 year of experience in developing operational resiliency strategies for large companies.
• Strong understanding of how regulated financial services businesses operate, including functions like Compliance, Finance, Risk, Treasury, Audit, and Outsourcing.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) for clear reporting and collaboration with teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with regulators.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Fusion Framework or other Business Continuity Management (BCM) software.
• Passion for business resiliency.
• Previous experience in a multinational/US-headquartered business.
• Familiarity with retail-oriented payments, trading, or brokerage platforms.
