Role Overview

Operations Director based in Tokyo, Japan, responsible for leading Binance’s business operations and driving growth in the Japanese market.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent business functions and report to MD, BoD, and committees.
• Develop and implement business plans with the GM.
• Oversee product localization, business development, partnerships, and marketing.
• Foster collaboration within the Japan team to achieve goals.
• Engage with local regulators on new product/service launches.
• Monitor KPIs/OKRs and advise the GM on action plans.
• Coordinate with central teams for timely project delivery.
• Pursue strategic partnerships and growth opportunities.
• Identify risks and collaborate on mitigation.
• Coach and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in operations, 3+ in senior leadership.
• Experience in finance or crypto industry.
• Fluent in Japanese and English.
• Strong strategic, leadership, and compliance skills.
