Location: 328 Crandon Blvd, Key Biscayne, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Job Type: Full-time, On-site (5 days/week)
Work Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm EST
Contract-to-Hire: Potential based on performance and need
About the Role:
Apex Systems is seeking a Personal Banker to join a banking team in Miami Beach. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service while managing a wide range of banking products and services. You will work on tasks such as handling client inquiries, account servicing, money transfers, and providing information on banking products. This is an on-site position with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Account Servicing: Handle requests related to account maintenance, opening/closing accounts, wire transfers, and fund movements.
- Cash Handling & Balancing: Manage cash transactions, balance cash drawers (including vaults and coins), and ensure accurate records.
- Client Interaction: Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing detailed and helpful information on products/services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Follow federal regulations and banking guidelines when processing transactions or addressing client needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work with management and banking teams to ensure that client servicing is efficient, accurate, and in compliance with company policies.
- Service Expansion: Assist in identifying opportunities to expand client relationships by offering appropriate banking products/services.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-3 years of related banking experience.
- Languages: Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Client Service Skills: Strong ability to deliver excellent service and resolve client concerns in a professional manner.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with banking regulations, products, and services. Previous experience in a banking environment is preferred.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically and handle multiple client needs simultaneously.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently as well as part of a team.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Execute client account servicing tasks such as opening/closing accounts, transferring funds, and maintaining accurate records.
- Process cash transactions and balance cash drawers daily.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest banking products, services, and compliance requirements.
- Assist with the maintenance of safe deposit boxes and other in-branch duties as needed.
- Support banking audits and provide assistance in the execution of various administrative functions.
