Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust risk data systems, pipelines, and data marts.
• Collaborate with business and risk teams to align data solutions with evolving compliance and risk needs.
• Create and enforce data governance standards, develop SOPs, and manage data assets (tasks, metrics, dashboards, etc.).
• Drive innovation by productizing data workflows and creating intelligent, scalable data tools for internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in data engineering or backend development, ideally in a risk or fintech context.
• Proficiency with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto (plus Spark task optimization experience).
• Strong in backend programming: Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Skilled in RESTful APIs, microservices, and both SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing data warehouses, data quality monitoring, and governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container tech like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
• Knowledge of risk-related business domains is a bonus.
