About the Role:

Join Binance Research, the research arm of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange. You will work on analyzing listed tokens, managing risk, and supporting operational processes to maintain Binance’s high standards in token listings and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Incident Handling:

• Support projects during major incidents (e.g., security breaches, exchange collapses).
• Identify root causes and assess impact on Binance and projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external projects to minimize impact.

Research and Risk Management:

• Review performance of listed tokens using quantitative & qualitative metrics (adoption, on-chain data, development, community sentiment).
• Identify and report risks, recommend mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate listing requests like rebrands, mainnet swaps, etc.
• Write clear reports on risks, requests, and incidents.
• Lead initiatives to improve risk detection and mitigation.

Operations:

• Onboard new token listings (collect info, prepare for trading).
• Coordinate operational requests for listed tokens (airdrops, cross-chain swaps).
• Optimize listing and operational SOPs.

Requirements:

• 5 to 9 years of research or consulting experience.
• Strong critical thinking and root cause analysis skills.
• Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Solid knowledge of crypto industry and trends.
• Self-driven and capable of evaluating risks and rewards independently.
