🔹 Role Summary
You’ll act as a subject matter expert and client services partner for Coinbase’s institutional clients using their Prime and Custody products. This is not just a support role — it combines operational execution, client relationship management, and product expertise in a fast-evolving crypto/fintech space.
This role sits at the intersection of:
- Client success
- Trading operations
- Middle-office services
- Crypto/fiat movement
- Escalation management
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Direct support of institutional clients (e.g. hedge funds, asset managers, high-net-worth individuals).
- Respond to client needs across email, phone, and video calls.
- Execute operational tasks such as wallet management, reporting, and crypto/fiat movements.
- Help lead client demos, solve technical issues, and represent the voice of the customer internally.
- Collaborate across functions (Sales, Engineering, Product, Risk).
- Actively manage incidents, bugs, and escalations with urgency.
- Operate within a global 24/7 coverage model — weekends and defined shifts required.
🔹 What Coinbase Is Looking For
- 4+ years in a client-facing support or operations role — ideally in institutional finance or crypto.
- Strong crypto knowledge or direct experience in crypto platforms or blockchain tech.
- Deep understanding of client operations, preferably with a background in:
- Trading ops
- Compliance
- Risk/fraud
- Financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in high-pressure interactions.
- Ability to work in a hyper-growth, changing environment.
🔹 Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Coinbase Prime/Custody.
- Crypto trading/operational knowledge (staking, wallets, blockchain transaction mechanics).
- Project management or systems knowledge (e.g. CRM, data analytics).
