📍 Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (Client office @ Bellandur)

🕓 Shift: Rotational

• 04:30 AM / 05:30 AM – 1:30 PM (Daylight Off)
• 03:30 AM – 12:30 PM (Daylight On)

🧭 About the Role

As a Procurement Professional at IBM, you'll work on Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes, supporting procurement teams with supplier evaluation, contract creation, negotiation, and data analysis. You will either function as:

• A Procurement Support Specialist (focusing on contract support, queries, legal coordination)
• OR
• A Spot/Tactical Buyer (focusing on sourcing strategies, supplier negotiation, and project execution)

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

For Procurement Support Specialist:

• Respond to contract and process-related queries
• Draft agreements using client templates
• Analyze internal and external data
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and suppliers
• Escalate complex issues to legal or category managers

For Spot/Tactical Buyer:

• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations
• Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on procurement needs
• Ensure procurement compliance and maintain documentation
• Drive cost savings and efficiency improvements

🎓 Preferred Education

• Associate's Degree / College Diploma (Bachelor’s would likely also be acceptable)

✅ Required Technical and Professional Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and vendors
• Solid understanding of procurement processes
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to quickly learn procurement tools and ERP systems

➕ Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following tools gives you an advantage:

• ERP/Procurement Platforms: SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, Emptoris, ServiceNow, Scout, Fieldglass
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
