Your Role as Product Counsel

As a Product Counsel, you will be a key legal advisor for product, engineering, and security teams, ensuring compliance and risk management while launching innovative blockchain data solutions. This role requires expertise in data sourcing, data licensing, and regulatory compliance in the blockchain and AI space.

What You’ll Do

✅ Provide full product lifecycle counsel—from ideation and development to launch, operation, and deprecation.

✅ Develop scalable policies for data collection, management, and licensing.

✅ Advise on emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, and third-party integrations.

✅ Lead incident management by collaborating with R&D and security teams on risk mitigation.

✅ Manage Chainalysis’ IP portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and enforcement.

✅ Monitor legal and regulatory changes to anticipate risks and support compliance efforts.

✅ Partner with commercial legal teams to negotiate customer and partner agreements.

✅ Oversee risk management, disputes, and compliance reviews for product workflows.

✅ Collaborate on marketing content review to ensure compliance.

What You’ll Bring

✔️ Juris Doctor (JD) degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience at high-growth or public companies.

✔️ Active membership with a U.S. state bar in good standing.

✔️ Expertise in legal risks, with preference for experience in big data and blockchain regulations.

✔️ Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate legal concepts into practical business language.

✔️ Problem-solving mindset, able to navigate complex legal landscapes with sound judgment.

✔️ Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
