✅ Key Highlights of the Role

• Team & Scope: You’d be joining the Core Product team, specifically focused on Messaging—one of Discord’s most essential user experiences.
• Primary Responsibilities:
• Define product vision, roadmap, and KPIs for Messaging.
• Lead cross-functional teams: Engineering, Design, ML, and Data.
• Make strategic decisions that impact platform-wide initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Revenue, Growth, Developer Platform).
• Use data and experimentation (A/B testing) to iterate.

✅ What They’re Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years PM experience in consumer products, ideally social or messaging-focused.
• Strong analytical skills (SQL), A/B testing experience.
• Proven impact through user experience improvement at scale.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Able to influence teams and leadership across orgs.

Bonus Points:

• Technical degree (CS/Eng) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in social networking, community, or messaging apps.
• Entrepreneurial mindset or startup experience.
• Gaming industry or Discord user/passion is a plus.

💰 Compensation Info

• Salary range: $196,000 to $220,500 USD
• Plus: Equity + Benefits
• Individual pay may vary based on experience, education, and skill alignment.
