🧩 Role Overview

Join Discord’s Core Product team as a Product Manager leading Messaging, one of the most fundamental and high-impact areas of the platform. You'll drive the product vision, guide cross-functional teams, and develop features that enhance how users chat, hang out, and deepen their social connections on Discord.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Discord Messaging.
• Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Data Science, ML) to ship impactful features.
• Own key user engagement metrics and experimentation frameworks.
• Drive product decisions and secure alignment with stakeholders across the company.
• Collaborate with partner teams (Revenue, Developer Ecosystem, Growth) who build on messaging infrastructure.
• Communicate priorities, timelines, and results clearly across all levels—from team to execs.

🧠 What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience delivering high-quality consumer products at scale.
• Strong analytical skills, including comfort writing SQL to explore product data.
• Technical fluency in working with both infrastructure and user-facing systems.
• Strategic thinking and execution in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• A/B testing experience and a deep understanding of social and messaging product dynamics.
