Product Manager, Experimentation

Role Overview:

• Remote position (USA-based).
• Lead the vision and roadmap for Discord’s Experimentation Platform.
• Build and improve tools that help teams run experiments confidently and faster.
• Work with many teams across Discord to support product development through experimentation.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Define product vision and improvements for experimentation tools.
• Solve technical challenges like reducing bias and improving data accuracy.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams.
• Create educational materials to help teams design and interpret experiments better.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in software product management.
• Experience with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, or causal inference.
• Strong knowledge of statistics (p-values, confidence intervals, power analysis).
• Skills in SQL, Python, or R and working with BigQuery.
• Degree in computer science, math, physics, economics, or related, or equivalent experience.
• Passion for gaming and the gaming industry.

Bonus Points:

• Experience building large-scale experimentation platforms.
• Advanced degree in statistics, engineering, finance, or math.

Salary:

• $196,000 to $220,500 base salary + equity + benefits.
