The Growth Team plays a pivotal role in delivering experiences that retain and re-engage users across the platform. As a Product Manager on the Notifications Team, you’ll craft impactful systems and features that help users stay connected to the conversations and activities that matter most.

What You'll Be Doing

• Define the product vision and roadmap for Notifications Platform and Experiences, focusing on balancing signal vs. noise across devices.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Engineering, Design, ML, and Data Science to build high-quality, scalable notification products.
• Improve notification infrastructure to ensure delivery is timely, relevant, and highly personalized.
• Partner with teams across Discord — Revenue, Developer Ecosystem, Machine Learning, and more — to deliver unified user experiences.
• Drive key decisions independently, gaining leadership buy-in and energizing your team toward execution goals.
• Clearly communicate strategies, priorities, and outcomes across internal stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Own and optimize performance metrics related to user engagement and retention.

What You Should Have

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping software products, including ownership over prioritization and delivery.
• Track record of solving complex user experience challenges at scale with measurable impact.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on ability to organize and interpret data (experience with SQL preferred).
• Demonstrated technical proficiency, especially collaborating closely with platform and infrastructure engineers.
• Deep product intuition and passion for enhancing customer engagement through thoughtful notifications.
• Expertise in A/B testing and data-driven experimentation.
• Experience working with notification systems or engagement/retention-focused features.

Bonus Points

• Experience working on social, communication, or community platforms.
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical field (BA/BS degree preferred).
• Experience solving internationalization and localization challenges.
• A passion for Discord’s mission and the gaming community.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $196,000 – $220,500 (base) + equity + benefits.
• Total compensation will depend on skills, experience, and education.
