Role Overview:

As a Product Manager II for Coinbase’s Financial Platform team, you will lead the platform that powers all trading flows and products at Coinbase. You will build scalable solutions, define the roadmap for growth, and manage the evolution of our financial products to scale to 1B users.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Vision: Define the vision and strategy for the platform powering Coinbase’s trading products and flows.
• Product Development: Build scalable solutions for maintaining high-quality customer financial data, including balances, fund movements, and portfolio performance.
• Roadmap Management: Prioritize and define the product roadmap to maximize customer value, using data and metrics to guide product development.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Align and motivate stakeholders, including engineering, finance, and product teams to execute on a shared vision.
• Industry Expertise: Become an expert in financial and crypto products, leveraging competitive analysis to inform decisions.
• Innovation: Explore new customer and business opportunities, including externalizing APIs to the developer community.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of product management experience.
• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Financial Product Knowledge: Strong background in financial record-keeping, accounting pipelines, and building solutions for fund movements and portfolio performance.
• Proven Success: Demonstrated ability to lead business-critical systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to align senior stakeholders (CFO, Accounting, Product, Engineering) towards a common vision.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Financial Controls: Experience designing and executing automated financial controls.
• Financial Process Knowledge: Understanding of audit, treasury, FP&A, ERP systems, accounting platforms, and budgeting tools.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $180,370 USD - $212,200 USD
