About the Role

TikTok is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Manager to join the Trust & Safety team, focusing specifically on photo-related content. In this role, you’ll help create safer experiences for our global user base by developing and launching tools that detect and mitigate risks associated with user-generated photo content, while also empowering creators and enhancing user engagement.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, operations, and policy to deliver robust safety solutions that balance platform integrity with user creativity.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the safety product roadmap for photo content moderation.
• Identify and mitigate risks in photo-text posts while maintaining a positive user experience.
• Drive large-scale, cross-functional safety initiatives with measurable impact.
• Partner with global teams across time zones to deliver major Trust & Safety product changes.
• Analyze data and user feedback to inform product decisions, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative research.
• Develop agile workflows that enhance collaboration and accelerate product delivery.
• Travel as needed to collaborate with global partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, ideally in consumer-facing internet or mobile companies.
• Strong communication and project management skills, with experience working across global teams.
• Proven ability to build products using data, experimentation, and user research.
• Hands-on experience improving user experience or product quality at scale.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Trust & Safety, policy development, or community integrity.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
• Exposure to working with image analysis, computer vision, or content moderation tools.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $156,864 - $296,020 (depending on experience and location).
• Eligible for performance bonuses, equity (RSUs), and full benefits package.
