Salary: $130,900 - $154,000 USD per year (plus bonus, equity, and benefits)

Role Overview

You will lead HR efforts throughout the M&A lifecycle and support Coinbase’s global growth by managing HR diligence, integration, risk management, and hiring frameworks for new international entities. This role requires strong project management, collaboration across teams, and the ability to handle complex, fast-paced challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR deliverables for M&A transactions, from diligence through post-close integration (org design, talent mapping, compensation reviews)
• Lead project plans and timelines for multiple concurrent deals
• Partner with Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, and HR teams to ensure smooth M&A execution
• Identify and mitigate people-related risks and compliance challenges
• Develop and execute integration plans balancing continuity with cultural alignment
• Create scalable, repeatable M&A and expansion playbooks and processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR M&A integration or related HR program management (Compensation, Benefits, HRBP, Talent Programs)
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Experience developing scalable people programs in fast-growing environments
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
• High discretion handling confidential information
• Global mindset with cross-functional partnership skills

• Startup experience with comfort in ambiguity
• Experience with global, distributed teams
• Familiarity with Workday HCM or similar HR systems
