About the Role

We’re looking for a Program Manager II, GRC to join our Strategy and Planning team within Enterprise Applications and IT Operations (ESTO). In this role, you’ll lead Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) projects that improve operational efficiency and ensure Coinbase’s regulatory readiness across our global technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute GRC projects to support compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
• Manage high-impact programs to close operational gaps within ESTO.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Security, Legal, Finance, and Business Technology teams.
• Build governance mechanisms, risk tracking systems, and compliance reporting processes.
• Support internal and external audit readiness efforts through documentation and alignment.
• Identify areas for risk and compliance process improvements.
• Develop clear roadmaps, maintain program timelines, and communicate updates to leadership.
• Adapt quickly in a dynamic, highly regulated industry.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of program management experience at a tech company or in a technical environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Effective communicator, able to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Track record of managing complex programs across global teams and time zones.
• Proficiency in using data to inform business decisions and risk mitigation.

Preferred:

• Project/program management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM).
• Knowledge or experience with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, JIRA, Looker, SQL.
