Protocol Sales Associate

Salary Range: $157,590 – $185,400 USD/year (plus bonus + equity + benefits)

💼 Role Overview

As a Protocol Sales Associate, you’ll help drive global adoption of Coinbase’s crypto-native products and services (custody, trading, staking, etc.) among token issuers and blockchain protocol teams. You’ll manage VIP relationships, support deals, and play a pivotal role in Coinbase’s onchain growth strategy.

🔑 Responsibilities

• Promote Coinbase’s products to protocol teams and token issuers
• Structure and execute deals across custody, trading, staking, and financing
• Deliver white-glove sales and relationship management
• Assist in lead generation and inbound opportunity management
• Work cross-functionally with product, legal, marketing, and engineering
• Collect and relay client feedback to improve product offerings
• Expand and manage a portfolio of top-tier crypto clients
• Cultivate long-term client trust through proactive communication

✅ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in crypto sales, business development, trading platforms, or enterprise/financial services
• Passion for the crypto industry and emerging trends
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
• Highly collaborative with cross-functional teams
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal
