QA Engineer (Performance Tuning)

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Translate business/technical needs into performance test requirements
• Drive architecture and code-level optimizations
• Design strategies for validating:
• Load
• Stability
• Scalability
• Reliability
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks across complex systems
• Develop tools for automation of performance testing and monitoring
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and backend teams
• Help ensure high availability and reliability of production systems

✅ Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong ability to identify root causes of performance issues and propose real solutions
• Experience tuning and troubleshooting Java-based microservices
• Skilled in database performance (MySQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with middleware troubleshooting: Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Proficiency with Linux systems/tools
• Hands-on with containerization & Kubernetes
• Experience setting up test environments
• Familiarity with tools like:
• K6, JMeter, APM (e.g., New Relic, Datadog)
• Proficient in Java (Rust is a plus)

🧠 Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience working in production performance tuning
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, AliCloud)
• Experience building/monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana
• Knowledge of Linux performance analysis (e.g., perf, top, htop, iostat)
• Background in distributed teams and remote collaboration
