Team Overview: OTC & Convert

The OTC & Convert team at Binance provides users with a seamless trading experience that includes:

• Guaranteed execution prices with no slippage
• Algorithmic trading bots
• Bespoke digital asset products
• Wide token support and large trade size capacity

This team is responsible for continuously enhancing trade execution systems and infrastructure to serve millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to full lifecycle software development: from requirement gathering through to deployment.
• Deliver high-quality, production-level Java code in a high-performance, low-latency trading environment.
• Collaborate with quant and trading teams to optimize trading models and infrastructure.
• Partner with operations to develop new trading products and refine existing ones.
• Improve and scale trading systems to handle large positions and complex orders efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues promptly.
• Be flexible and available during non-standard hours to respond to urgent production matters.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Java in end-to-end project development.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, multithreading, and integration patterns.
• Proficiency in event-driven programming, RESTful services, and high-concurrency systems.
• Prior experience in trading systems (especially algorithmic or quantitative) at:
• Investment banks
• Hedge funds
• Proprietary trading firms
• Brokerages
• is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics/Algorithms is a bonus.
• Able to work in or adjust to Asian time zones is preferred.
