About the Job

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and registered users, is looking for a Quantitative Developer - Java to join our Convert team. This team is responsible for creating seamless trading experiences, offering a wide range of converted tokens and trade sizes. As a Quantitative Developer, you’ll help improve and scale our trading systems, working on both the technical and algorithmic side to deliver high-quality products. You will also work closely with trading and operations teams to ensure the infrastructure supports large-scale positions and trades.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: Engage in the full software lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• High-Quality Code: Write production-quality code with a strong focus on performance and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Convert team to improve trading models and integrate new features.
• System Infrastructure: Enhance the trading system infrastructure to handle large-scale positions and orders.
• Problem-Solving: Identify bottlenecks and bugs in the system and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Production Support: Be available during flexible working hours to address any production emergencies.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in full lifecycle project development for Java applications.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software design, architecture, event processing models, multi-threading, enterprise integration patterns, web services, and REST.
• Trading Systems: Experience with algorithmic trading systems, or a background in investment banks, hedge funds, trading firms, or brokerages is a strong plus.
• Flexibility: Ability to work during Asian time zones is preferred.
• Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics/Algorithm-related fields is a bonus.
