We are now looking for an Account Executive to join our sales team and focus on mobile gaming. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building and growing a new advertising product for Discord, helping mobile game publishers market to their target audiences. What You'll Be Doing:

1. Generate Revenue:

• Drive new partnerships with game publishers, studios, and their media agencies to build a sustainable revenue stream for Discord’s emerging mobile ads business.
• Prospect and source new business opportunities, assess client needs, and negotiate deals.

1. Internal Strategic Insights:

• Collaborate with internal teams to provide strategic recommendations for product development.
• Work within the sales function to create scalable processes for Discord’s growing mobile ads business.

1. Consultative Client Partnerships:

• Identify client needs and deliver strategic proposals to meet those needs.
• Build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers across the mobile gaming industry.

1. Industry Thought Leadership:

• Serve as an expert on the gaming, media, marketing, and advertising industries, offering insights to both clients and internal teams.
• Represent Discord at industry events and forums, showcasing your expertise.

What You Should Have:

• Experience:
• 6+ years of experience in ad sales within the gaming industry, specifically building new business.
• Proven success in driving mobile business growth and meeting revenue targets.
• Established relationships with marketing decision-makers at top game publishers and agencies.
• Skills:
• Strong data analysis skills to assess campaign performance and quickly troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to influence product development and internal processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Other:
• Willingness to travel for in-person client meetings as needed.

Compensation:

• Total Target Compensation: $272,000 - $306,000 OTE (base salary + target variable compensation) + equity + benefits.
• The range is determined by role, level, experience, and relevant education.
