Job Overview:

Discord is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Lead to help acquire new audiences, engage existing customers, and grow the business. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Engineering, Data Science, Product Design, and Brand Marketing) to create and optimize programs that acquire, retain, and monetize users. You’ll leverage CRM software (Iterable) and other tools to build impactful strategies for engaging users.

Key Responsibilities:

1. User Acquisition & Conversion:

• Identify new ways to acquire and convert users via in-app and CRM channels, while ensuring a positive user experience.

1. Marketing Technology Enhancement:

• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to build top-tier marketing and growth technology tools, including CRM, attribution modeling, and notifications.

1. User Engagement & Retention:

• Partner with Product and Engineering to develop lifecycle campaigns and create in-app product channels and notification systems to engage users.

1. Campaign Execution:

• Launch and iterate on in-product and CRM campaigns that drive new customers, engage current users, and grow revenue. Manage campaigns on Iterable with the help of agency partners.

1. Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work with various teams to design and execute acquisition and engagement programs.
• Develop guidelines for user interaction across in-app and CRM channels.

1. System Evolution:

• Help evolve the CRM marketing systems, tools, and technology to keep Discord ahead in the lifecycle marketing space.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years in CRM/Growth marketing, customer engagement, or related fields.
• CRM Expertise: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, particularly Iterable.
• Proven Success: Track record of developing and executing successful global CRM strategies.
• Cross-functional Skills: Ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Creative, and Brand teams.
• Forward-thinking: A desire to build a data-driven, innovative lifecycle marketing organization.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $180,000 to $229,500 + equity + benefits (Salary range is based on role and level, and adjusted for individual skills, experience, and education).
