We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Unified Developer Platform team and help build systems and features that enhance player experiences on Discord.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Guide Product Philosophy & Roadmap:
• Lead the development of features and systems that allow players to engage with game experiences on Discord, such as game-related DMs, notifications, player profiles, leaderboards, and bots.
• Balance Developer & Consumer Needs:
• Prioritize and balance needs to ensure platform capabilities drive reach, retention, engagement, and revenue while maintaining a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate Across Teams:
• Work with engineering, design, data scientists, and other product teams (like Apps and Revenue) to develop a connected vision that enhances game developers’ products on Discord.
• Empathize with Players:
• Think player-first and empathize with various player personas and use cases, ensuring the product is tailored to enhance their experience.

What You Should Have:

• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in consumer software product management, with a proven ability to drive prioritization, trade-offs, and timelines.
• Gaming & Player Engagement:
• A strong understanding of gaming and player engagement, particularly in the context of Discord.
• Problem-Solving:
• Proven track record of solving challenging consumer/player problems with innovative solutions and delivering measurable impact.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers. A programming background is a plus.
• Data-Driven:
• Experience analyzing and synthesizing data to inform decision-making.
• Strong Product Sense:
• Passion for understanding your customers (both developers and players) and a strong sense of ownership for the product experience.

Compensation:

• Base Salary Range: $196,000 to $220,500
• In addition to the base salary, equity and benefits are provided, with compensation determined by role, level, experience, and relevant education or training.
