About the Role

Crypto.com is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quant Trader to manage trading strategies, execute hedging operations, and enhance algorithmic performance across diverse markets. This is a high-impact role for an experienced trader with a quantitative background and a passion for automation and innovation in the digital asset space.

Key Responsibilities

• Real-Time Risk Monitoring: Oversee trading activity and manage risk during Singapore timezone and rotating weekend shifts.
• Trade Execution & Hedging: Conduct pricing and execution operations to support automated infrastructure and reduce exposure.
• Strategy Development: Improve current trading strategies and engineer new alpha-generating approaches across asset classes.
• Market Discovery: Identify new trading opportunities and market inefficiencies.
• Post-Trade Analytics: Perform detailed analysis to assess strategy performance and guide optimization.
• Collaboration: Partner with quant developers to implement and refine trading systems and features.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
• 5+ years of profitable trading experience on a top-tier trading desk, proprietary trading firm, or market maker
• Proven track record of building and managing successful trading strategies
• Strong coding skills in Python and desire to further develop technical expertise
• Sharp critical thinking and analytical skills
• High attention to detail, with excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
