Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk Analyst focused on fraud prevention within the card issuing and payment space. You will analyze transaction data, detect fraudulent activity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant, and smooth user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy risk control measures to prevent fraud attempts and collaborate with compliance teams to ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret large volumes of user, transaction, and asset data to detect anomalies or suspicious trends.
• Develop, refine, and implement fraud detection rules, alerts, and operational procedures to enhance risk mitigation.
• Work closely with business, compliance, customer support, and product teams to manage, escalate, and resolve fraud cases effectively.
• Support continuous improvement of internal risk policies, fraud prevention strategies, and automated monitoring systems.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in fraud detection, risk analysis, or related fields, ideally within fintech, financial services, or crypto.
• Strong knowledge of KYC requirements, fraud typologies, and card scheme regulations.
• Experience handling complex fraud investigations and working with transaction monitoring systems.
• Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large datasets.
• High integrity, professional skepticism, and strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
